Longform Bio: Bruce enjoyed six years of biotech research while pursuing his biology degree, and for three years after achieving it. But realms of the fantastic were never far from his mind. Bruce’s freelance game design for various online multiuser text games ultimately landed him a design position at TSR.
   Instead of coding online multiuser D&D games, he found himself designing traditional roleplaying adventures and supplements, which is work he’s enjoyed ever since.
   In addition to writing Dungeons & Dragons, Bruce has contributed to several other games, including Magic, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and other properties.
   In 2002, Bruce's first novel was published. He's continued to write novels (and some short stories) every year since, concentrating on the shared world of Forgotten Realms.
   Besides writing books and games, he enjoys kickboxing and jujutsu, practicing healthy dietary habits, pursuing the occasional adventure, and reading like a fiend.
